  • 1 pound Butter
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Walnuts
  • 2 Egg Yolks (beaten)
  • 1 Brandy (jigger) or 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 5 cups Flour (approximate)

Directions

    Mix softened butter, brandy (or vanilla) and powdered sugar until creamy.

    Beat egg yolks

    Combine beaten egg yolks with butter/brandy/sugar mixture

    Add flour until a soft dough is formed

    Add chopped walnuts

    Roll into balls and bake on cookie sheet for 15 minutes at 300 degree

    Cool and roll in powdered sugar
