- 1 Cup butter - softened
- 1/2 Cup 10X sugar
- 2 1/4 Cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 Cup nuts - usually walnuts
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2Cream together butter and sugar.

3Add vanilla

4Stir together dry ingredients and gradually add to butter and sugar mixture.

5Add nuts

6Roll into large marble sized balls.l

7Bake 10-14 minutes. Do not brown too

8much.

9While still hot, roll in 10x sugar and let cool.

10Sprinkle with additional 10x sugar when serving.
