  • 1/2 c. White sugar
  • 1/2 c. Butter
  • 1/2 c. Shortening
  • 1 x Egg
  • 2 c. Flour
  • 1 tsp Cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp Soda
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

Directions

    Cream butter,shortening & vanilla, add in beaten egg.

    Add in dry ingredients and mix well.

    Roll tsps.

    full into balls, put on baking sheet and press finger in center fill with jam or possibly jelly.

    Bake in 350 oven 10 - 12 minutes.
