  • 1 box white butter cake mix
  • 1 stick margarine, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Mix with a spoon, cake mix, softened margarine, 2 eggs and 1 cup chopped pecans.

    Batter will be thick. Pat mixture into a buttered, floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan.

    Mix with mixer powdered sugar, 2 eggs and cream cheese.

    Then pour over the mixture in pan and bake at 300° to 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

    Do not expect to test the doneness with a toothpick.
