  • 1 egg
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp. butter, softened
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • Dash celery salt, paprika and thyme
  • 1 tsp. parsley, minced (fresh is best)
  • 1/2 tsp. chives, minced (fresh is best)
  • 5 1/2 Tbsp. flour

Directions

    Mix together egg, butter, salt, spices, parsley and chives; then stir in flour. Let batter stand at room temperature for about an hour. Bring broth, soup or salted water to gentle boil, then using a teaspoon drop batter into liquid. When dumplings rise to surface they are cooked. Makes approximately 20.
