  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 12 oz. bag chocolate chips, melted

Directions

    Boil first 5 ingredients in pan.

    Boil to crackling stage (300° on candy thermometer).

    Remove from heat; add 1 cup nuts and pour on a buttered cookie sheet.

    Add melted chocolate over top and spread.

    When cool, break into pieces.
