- 3 c. sugar
- 2 sticks butter or margarine, softened
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. sour cream
- powdered sugar (optional)
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Cream the sugar and butter until light with mixer.

2Add eggs, one at a time, mixing after each.

3Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.

4Gradually add to sugar mixture and fold in sour cream, a little at a time, along with vanilla.

5Mix well or until combined.

6Bake at 350° for 1 hour or 1 hour and 15 minutes in a Bundt size pan or two loaf pans.

7When cool, garnish with powdered sugar.
