- 1/4 c. butter (not margarine)
- 1 tsp. real vanilla
- 1 egg
- pie dough
- 1 c. dark brown sugar
- 6 Tbsp. water
- 1 c. currants
Directions

1Mix all ingredients, except currants.

2Simmer, stirring quite often.

3Roll pie dough and cut in circles (large) to fit either cup cake or muffin tins.

4Put in 1 heaping teaspoon of currant into each and 1 spoon liquid over currants until 2/3 full.

5Cook 25 minutes at 350°.
