- 8 Tbsp. (1 stick) sweet butter, softened
- 3 Tbsp. Honey
- 1 c. Flour AB ts salt
- 1 Tbsp. Vanilla
- 1 c. Shelled pecans, minced moderately fine
- 3/4 c. Confectioners' sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 300 F. Grease one or possibly two cookie sheets.

2Cream butter.

3Beat in honey; gradually fold in flour and salt, then vanilla.

4Add in pecans.

5Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigeratefor 1 hour.

6Form balls by hand, the size of quarters.

7Place 2 inches apart on the prepared cookie sheets.

8Bake for 35 to 40 min.

9Remove from oven as soon as cold sufficient to touch, roll in confectioners' sugar.

10Allow to cold and roll again in sugar.
