  • 4 c. sliced carrots
  • 2/3 c. hot water
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. butter

    Place carrots, salt and water in a shallow pan with close-fitting cover and bake. Serve with butter and lemon juice. Chopped parsley may be added.
