- 2 large crabs
- 2 anchovy fillets
- 1 glass white wine
- 1 c. white bread crumbs
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- pinch of nutmeg
- salt and pepper
- slices of buttered toast
Directions

1Mash anchovy fillets; work in bread crumbs and nutmeg.

2Add wine and season to taste.

3Then bring gently to the boil in a saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes.

4Flake the meat from the crabs; mix with the melted butter and add to the hot wine mixture.

5Cook gently for 4 minutes, then serve on a hot dish surrounded by strips of buttered toast.

6Serve with a side salad of your choice.
