- 1 medium size butternut squash
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/3 c. butter
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- dash of cloves (optional)
- 2 c. miniature marshmallows
Directions

1Cut solid portions of squash into 1/2-inch round cuts; peel. From the large end, peel and remove seeds; cut as desired.

2Cut rounds into fourths.

3Add 1/2 cup water; cool slowly until tender Drain off water; add sugar, butter and nutmeg.

4Mash or beat well. Pour into baking dish.

5Cover with marshmallows.

6Bake in oven until brown and glazy looking.

7Bake at 375° for about 40 minutes.
