- 12 cup oleo, softened
- 12 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 18 teaspoon clove
- 18 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 12 cups milk
- 5 tablespoons rum, divided
- 3 tablespoons sugar
Directions

1Beat oleo at medium speed til creamy.

2Add 1/2c sugar beating well.

3Add eggs, one at a time beating after each addition.

4Combine flour and next 4 ingredients.

5Combine milk and 21/2 TBs rum.

6Add flourmix alternately with milk mixture.

7Begin and end with flour mixture.

8Beat at low speed til blended after each addition.

9Spoon into greased muffin tins.

10Fill 3/4 full.

11Bake 375 degrees 20- 25 min.

12When done remove at once.

13Cook 21/2 TBS rum and 3 TBS sugar just to boil and brush over muffins.
