- 1 c. butter, softened
- 1 carton (12 oz.) cottage cheese
- dash of salt
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 2 tsp. milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. confectioners sugar
Directions

1Cream butter and cheese together with mixer until blended; beat in salt and flour until smooth.

2Cover; refrigerate 4 hours. Divide into 3 parts; form into balls.

3On lightly floured surface, roll out flat into circles 12 inches in diameter.

4Cut into 12 pie-shaped wedges.

5Roll each wedge from wide to small end.

6Place on greased cookie sheet with tips turned under.

7Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until light golden brown.

8While butterhorns bake, mix remaining ingredients.

9Spread over tops.

10Cool completely.
