Buttermilk Biscuits

  • 3 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1/3 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 stick Very Cold Butter
  • 1 cup Very Cold Buttermilk

    Preheat oven to 400.

    Using a food processor, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together. Add the butter and pulse until the mixture resembles a coarse meal. Slowly add the buttermilk until a wet dough forms.

    Remove the dough from the food processor and knead 10-15 times. Roll out the dough and cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter (or, if you're classy like me, the rim of a stemless white wine glass).

    Arrange on lightly greased baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
