- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. salad oil
- 4 scant c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 c. nuts
Directions

1Dump sugar, buttermilk and oil in a bowl.

2In a separate bowl, mix flour, soda and salt.

3Add to first mixture and stir.

4In a separate bowl, stir together eggs, vanilla, juice and nuts; add to main mixture.

5Stir until smooth.

6Pour into a greased tube cake pan.

7Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
