  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 3 c. cake flour
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

    Cream the Crisco, sugar, soda and buttermilk.

    Beat for 3 to 4 minutes.

    Put in one egg at a time with some flour, until all eggs are used.

    Pour into a greased and floured tube pan and bake for 1 hour at 350° or until done.
