Buttermilk Chicken

  • 3 lb. boneless chicken
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 (10 oz.) cream of chicken soup

Directions

    Dip chicken in 1/2 cup buttermilk, then roll in flour seasoned with salt and pepper.

    Melt margarine in 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Place chicken in pan and bake, uncovered, at 375° for 30 minutes.

    Turn chicken and bake 15 minutes.

    Blend 1/2 cup buttermilk, 1/2 cup sour cream and soup.

    Pour over chicken.

    Bake 15 minutes more.
