Buttermilk Chocolate Pudding Cake

- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. Crisco oil
- 2 eggs, beaten slightly
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix together sugar, Crisco oil and beaten eggs.

2Add to mixture, a small amount at a time, the salt, soda and cocoa. Combine to other mixture the water, buttermilk and vanilla.

3Batter will be thin.

4Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

5Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.

6Spread icing over hot cake and allow to cool in pan.
