  • 1 (9-inch) deep dish pie shell
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs, beaten well
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour

    Beat eggs well, until light.

    Add sugar, flour, buttermilk and butter.

    Mix well.

    Pour in pie shell and bake at 300° until golden brown.
