  • 1-1/3 cup sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. margarine, melted
  • 1 c. thick buttermilk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell

Directions

    Combine sugar and flour; add eggs, margarine, and milk; mix well. Fold in vanilla and lemon flavoring. Pour into chilled pie shell and bake at 425° for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 350° and bake for 35 minutes without opening the door. Check to see if center is solid when a knife is inserted.
