  • 3 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 6 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 c. butter or oleo, melted
  • 1 c. buttermilk

Directions

    Beat eggs.

    Mix together sugar, flour and salt and add to eggs. Stir in vanilla, melted butter and buttermilk.

    Bake in two 9-inch unbaked pie crusts for 1 hour at 350°.

    Makes two pies that can be frozen after baking.
