  • 3 c. sugar
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • pastry (for two 9-inch pies)

Directions

    Mix eggs, sugar and oleo until light.

    Add vanilla and buttermilk.

    Pour into 2 unbaked pie shells.

    Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 325° and bake for 30 minutes more or until firm in the middle.
