Buttermilk Pie

  • 1 pie shell
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 c. melted margarine
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • dash of nutmeg

Directions

    Mix flour and sugar together until fine.

    Add cooled margarine, eggs, buttermilk and vanilla.

    Mix well.

    Pour in pie shell.

    Bake 15 minutes at 450°, turn temperature down to 325° and bake 25 minutes or until pie is set.

    Cool, do not cut while hot.
