Ingredients

  • 2-1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour, Plus More For Dusting And Shaping
  • 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1/2 cups Cold Unsalted Butter, Cut Into Small Cubes
  • 3/4 cups Buttermilk
  • 4 Tablespoons Ranch Dressing, Divided
  • 1 Tablespoon Unsalted Butter, melted

Directions

  1. 1
Heat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper; spray with cooking spray.
  2. 2
In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt until well combined. Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. 3
Make a well in the center and pour in buttermilk and 3 tablespoons ranch dressing. Stir until just combined.
  4. 4
Turn dough out onto a well-floured surface. Pat dough into a 1/2-inch tall circle. Use a 3-inch biscuit or round cookie cutter to cut dough into biscuits. Place biscuits on prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Re-pat dough scraps once into a circle to cut more biscuits.
  5. 5
Bake biscuits 10 minutes. Meanwhile, combine remaining 1 tablespoon ranch dressing and melted butter.
  6. 6
Brush tops of biscuits with butter-ranch mixture. Bake another 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown.
