Butternut Pound Cake

- 1 c. shortening
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. white sugar
- 2 1/2 c. plain flour
- 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. butternut flavoring
Directions

1Mix well together the shortening, sugar and eggs.

2Add milk. In a separate bowl, mix both flours and salt.

3Add to creamy mixture and mix well.

4Then add flavoring and pour into greased and floured cake pan.

5Bake at 350° for 80 minutes.
