  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 2 1/2 c. cake flour plus 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. sweet milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. butternut flavoring

Directions

    Combine sugar and Crisco. Blend until well creamed. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one. Add flour and milk alternately, then add flavoring. Bake 1 hour at 325°, then at 350° for 15 or 20 minutes.
