- 4 well beaten egg yolks
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 1/4 c. granulated sugar
- 5 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. mashed butternut squash, cooled
- 3 c. sweet milk
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 1/2 tsp. allspice
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Directions

1Combine ingredients in order listed.

2Mix thoroughly, then add stiffly beaten egg whites.

3Pour into unbaked pie shells and bake 10 minutes at 400° then for 40 minutes at 350°.

4Makes 3 medium size pies.
