Butternut Squash Pie

  • 2 c. cooked squash, pureed or mashed
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp. cloves
  • 1/4 c. molasses
  • 3 well beaten eggs
  • 1 can milk
  • 1 pie shell

Directions

    In a large bowl, place squash, sugar, salt, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and molasses.

    Mix together eggs and milk and add to mixture.

    Put into unbaked pie shell and sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake 20 minutes at 425°, then 45 minutes at 375°.
