  • 1/2 c. margarine, softened
  • 1 lb. (16 oz.) pkg. light brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

    Cream margarine and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

    Add vanilla and flour, blending well.

    Stir in pecans.

    Pour batter into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan; bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
