- 1/2 c. margarine, softened
- 1 lb. (16 oz.) pkg. light brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Cream margarine and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Add vanilla and flour, blending well.

4Stir in pecans.

5Pour batter into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan; bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.

6Cut into squares.
