- 1 c. soft bread cubes
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2/3 c. milk
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- dash of salt
- 1/3 c. raisins
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Place bread crumbs in buttered 2 1/2 cup casserole dish.

3Beat egg slightly.

4Stir in butter, milk, brown sugar, seasonings and raisins.

5Pour egg mixture on bread crumbs. Bake until a knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 40 minutes.

6Serve warm.

7top with light cream, if you like.
