- 125 g butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon golden syrup
- 1 1/4 cups self raising flour
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 150 Celsius.

2Beat Butter,Essence, Sugar and Golden Syrup in a small bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Then sift in Flour and mix till dough comes together. Roll into teaspoon size balls and place about 5cm apart on lined baking tray.

3Flatten with fork slightly.

4Bake for about 20 minutes.

5Cool on wire rack.
