- 1 pinch cream of tartar
- 1 1/2 cups melted butter
- 2 teaspoons lemon extract
Directions

1Put sugar and water in largesaucepan.

2Heat,stirring on occasion,until boiling point.

3Add cream of tartar.

4Cover mixture,and boil for 10 minutes.

5Remove lid,cook to 310,or hard crack stage.

6Add the butter,& lemon extract,blend.

7Remove from heat.

8Pour into a buttered pan.

9When cold,cut with scissors,and wrap in wax paper.
