  • 1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 5 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions

    Combine sugar, butter and salt in pan. Bring to a boil.

    Stir constantly, then add milk and boil 3 minutes.

    Let cool and add 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar or less and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla.
