- 14-13 cup margarine
- 14 cup brown sugar
- 3 12 tablespoons cornstarch

- 1 can evaporated milk, heated
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1 12 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 pie shell, baked
Directions

1Put packed brown sugar and margarine in pan and brown.

2Add 1/2 cup of water slowly and cook until sugar dissolves.

3In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar, cornstarch and salt.

4Heat can of evaporated milk.

5In a separate bowl, mix egg yolks and milk.

6Add egg/milk mixture to dry ingredient's mixture.

7Pour hot sugar mixture into heating milk.

8Add egg mixture.

9Cook until thick.

10Pour into baked crust.

11In a separate bowl, make meringue by beating egg whites with an electric mixer.

12Slowly add sugar.

13Beat until light and fluffy and stiff peaks form.

14Top pie filling with meringue and bake until meringue is golden brown.
