- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
- water
- yolks from 4 large eggs
- 1/4 c. unsalted butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
Directions

1Mix sugar, flour and salt in heat-proof bowl.

4Whisk eggs and 1/2 cup of milk.

8Place bowl over simmering water and cook, stirring constantly, 12 to 15 minutes until thick. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla.
