- 4 egg yolks
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- pinch of salt
- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 baked (9-inch) pie shell
Directions

1Place brown sugar, butter, flour and salt in saucepan on low heat.

2Mix well.

3Add milk.

4Cook until it thickens.

5Add egg yolks and vanilla.

6Pour in baked pie shell.

7Top with meringue. Bake pie until meringue is lightly brown.

8Bake in 350° oven.
