Butterscotch Pineapple Bars

  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. orange peel
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 c. pecans, chopped

    Combine sugar, butter and orange peel.

    Cream well.

    Add flour, baking powder and salt; mix well.

    Add pineapple, butterscotch chips and pecans; mix thoroughly.

    Pour into well-greased pan.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
