- 1 stick butter
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. plain flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs (not beaten)
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. pecans, chopped
Directions

1Melt butter and let cool.

2Add brown sugar, stirring well, then add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.

3Add flour, salt and baking powder sifted together.

4Add vanilla and nuts. Put in well greased pan.

5Cook for 30 minutes at 325°.

6Cut while warm into squares.

7Roll in powdered sugar.

8Makes approximately 50 squares.
