- 2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions

1Use medium to heavy saucepan.

2Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, milk and butter.

3Bring to a boil over medium heat.

4Boil 30 minutes, stirring constantly.

5Stir in vanilla and nuts.

6Pour into well buttered 9 x 13-inch pan; let cool.

7Cut into squares and wrap in pieces of waxed paper.
