  • 2 - 19oz. Generic BBQ sauce bottles
  • 1 - 16 oz. beer (not dark)
  • 1 - 12 oz. molasass
  • 1 - 8 oz. strong coffee (espresso is best)
  • 1 - 8 oz. beef broth
  • 1 - cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/3 - cup grated ginger
  • 1/3 - cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/3 - cup white or cider apple vinegar
  • 1 - large red onion chopped medium
  • 1-2 chipoltle with adobe sauce
  • 1 poblano chili chopped fine
  • 1 habernero chili chopped fine
  • 1 head of garlic (6tbsp.) chopped fine
  • zest and juice from - 2 oranges, 1 lime, 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp dry mustard
  • 1 tbsp liquid smoke
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Directions

    heat oil in large 6 quart pot and brown onion, peppers and finally add garlic at the end until just soft. Add remaining ingredients and stir thoroughly (use a hand blender if you have one). Bring to a light boil then reduce heat to a simmer and reduce volume by 1/3.
