- 1 large head cabbage, chopped
- 1 lb. ground turkey, browned with fat and drained well
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 1/2 to 2 Tbsp. blackened seasoning
Directions

1In a heavy 3-quart pot brown the ground turkey, drain fat and return to pot.

2Add onion, cabbage and seasoning.

3Cover and begin cooking at high heat, then reduce to medium heat, stirring until completely done to keep cabbage from scorching.

4Allow to cook in its own juice.

5You may add water if needed to keep from sticking. Add only 1/2 cup at a time.

6This is much better when cooked in its own juice.
