Ingredients
- 1 medium cabbage (cut 8 wedges)
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 lb. fresh ground beef
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp. garlic salt
- 2 c. grated Cheddar or hoop cheese
- 2 c. cooked rice
Directions

1In a large skillet, brown together ground beef and onion. Drain.

2Using a large oven dish, place ground beef on bottom. Spread cabbage wedges over the meat.

3Mix together the tomato sauce and garlic salt.

4Pour over the cabbage.

5Cover tightly and cook for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 375°.

6Remove from oven.

7Place grated cheese on top.
-
8Return to oven and melt cheese.

9Bake to lightly brown.

10Serve over bed of cooked rice.
