Cabbage Casserole

- 2 c. shredded cabbage
- 1 1/2 c. corn flakes
- 1/2 stick margarine
- salt to taste
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1 c. milk
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. crumbled cornflakes
Directions

1Soak cabbage in cold water for 30 minutes.

2Mix together cornflakes (crushed by hand) and melted margarine.

3Place in bottom of large baking dish.

4Put cabbage on top of mixture and salt to taste.

5Make a sauce of mayonnaise, milk and celery soup.

6Heat and pour over cabbage.

7Top with shredded cheese and cornflakes.

8Bake at 325° for 35 minutes.
