  • 5 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 c. saltine fine cracker crumbs
  • 1 tsp. dill seed
  • 2 1/2 lb. cabbage
  • 1 tsp. flour (plain)
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 c. American or Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 oz. pimento, chopped

    Melt 3 tablespoons margarine.

    Add cracker crumbs and dill seed; saute until brown.

    Slice cabbage coarsely.

    Boil until tender, about 10 minutes.

    Drain.

    Place cabbage in 8 x 12 x 2-inch baking dish.
