  • 5 c. chopped cabbage
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 c. grated cheese
  • 1 small box corn flakes, crushed

    Butter large rectangular Pyrex dish.

    Layer with crushed corn flakes (1/2).

    Mix all ingredients, except soup and cheese, and pour into dish.

    Cover with undiluted soup.

    Sprinkle with cheese.

    Top with remaining 1/2 of corn flakes; dot with butter. Bake for 40 minutes at 350°.
