Cabbage Casserole

- 1 head cabbage, shredded coarse
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 4 Tbsp. flour or cornstarch
- 4 Tbsp. butter/margarine
- 2 c. milk
- 1 c. Velveeta cheese cubes
Directions

1Cook cabbage in water 8 minutes and then drain.

2Stir into the cooked cabbage the flour or cornstarch, butter/margarine, milk and Velveeta cheese cubes.

3Pour into deep casserole dish.

4Top with bread or cracker crumbs, crushed fine.

5Bake 30 minutes at 350°.

6If it appears to be too thin, you can cook it a little longer.

7It will thicken as it cools down a little.

8Serve it warm.
