Cabbage Casserole

- 1 lb. ground chuck beef
- 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 3 Tbsp. raw long grain rice
- 1 (10 oz.) can tomato soup
- 1 can water
- 3 c. coarsely chopped cabbage
Directions

1In large frypan, stir and break up beef in oil for 1 minute. Add onion, salt, pepper and rice.

2Mix well while sauteing for 2 to 3 minutes.

3Then add soup and water.

4Mix well.

5Turn cabbage into greased casserole.

6Pour mixture evenly over raw cabbage. (Do not stir.)

7Bake, covered, 1 1/2 hours at 325°.
