Cabbage Casserole

  • 1 medium head cabbage
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. cheese (Cheddar)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts

Directions

    Chop and steam head of cabbage.

    Drain.

    Place 1/2 of cabbage in greased casserole dish.

    Top with 1/2 can of water chestnuts, 1/4 cup of sour cream and 1/4 cup of cheese.

    Repeat another layer.

    Bake, covered, at 350° for approximately 10 minutes until mixture is bubbly and cheese begins to melt.
