Cabbage Casserole

- 1 medium head cabbage, shredded
- 1 stick margarine
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. bread or cracker crumbs
Directions

1Boil cabbage until tender.

2Drain and add salt and pepper to taste.

3Add margarine, sour cream, onion, soup and chestnuts. Put one-half of the mixture in casserole dish.

4Sprinkle one-half of the cheese and repeat layers. Top with crumbs. Sprinkle with paprika, if desired. Bake at 350° until bubbly (about 30 minutes).
